A Positive Start to the School Year

As we begin the new academic year, I wanted to take a moment to thank our staff, pupils and families for such a positive start across Torfield and Saxon Mount schools.

It has been wonderful to see how well children and young people have settled into their new classes and routines, particularly those who have joined us for the first time this year. The confidence, resilience and enthusiasm shown by our pupils is a real credit to them and to the adults who support them.

I feel incredibly privileged to work with such wonderful children and young people every day. Their achievements, personalities and determination continue to inspire us and remind us why our work is so important.

I would also like to thank parents and carers for their support at the start of term. The strong partnership between home and school plays a vital role in helping children thrive, and we are grateful for the encouragement, communication and trust that families show us.

We have also received some lovely feedback about our holiday provision and the positive difference it has made to pupils' confidence, wellbeing and enjoyment.

As a Trust, we remain committed to providing the very best experiences for our children and young people by continually developing our staff, sharing expertise and working together to create schools where everyone can flourish.
