Phonics (Sounds-Write)

At Torfield, we have implemented the Sounds-Write approach to teach systematic synthetic phonics. After careful consideration, we chose Sounds-Write because it is particularly well suited to supporting children with special educational needs, and we have successfully adapted it to meet the wide range of needs and stages of development across our school.
